FAMSUN Led Chinese Delegation at ISO/TC293 Meeting in USA, Shaping the Future of Feed Machinery Standards

On January 29, 2024, the fourth plenary meeting of ISO/TC293, the ISO Technical Committee on Feed machinery, was held in Atlanta, USA. As the National Mirror Committee, FAMSUN Co., Ltd. organized a Chinese delegation headed by Dr. Ma Fengde to attend the meeting in the United States. 

The meeting was attended by the ISO/TC 293 Chair, the ISO Technical Project Manager, the ISO/TC 293 Secretariat and more than 30 delegates from 7 participating members from Canada, China, Germany, France, Iran, Sweden and the United States, as well as the Liaison officer of ISO/TC34/SC10 Animal Feed. 

Ms. Zhou Qingxin, the Committee Manager of ISO/TC 293 presided at the meeting. The Strategic Business Plan of ISO/TC 293 was discussed at the meeting, which confirmed the future development direction of international standards for feed machinery and laid a good foundation for China, especially Famsun itself, to draft international standards for the technical requirements of products in the field of feed machinery in the future. 

With the gradual realization of international standardization goals, feed quality and health, safe production, environmental protection will be guaranteed, International standardization will improve the efficiency of feed engineering construction, save costs, protect the reasonable interests of both feed machinery manufacturers and users, promote the technological progress of manufacturers, meet the needs of government regulation, and ultimately bring great benefits to stakeholders.
